Apprenticeship Champion

Workforce Strategies Group LLC provides Apprenticeship Champion Services designed to support the successful design, implementation, and ongoing management of registered and non-registered apprenticeship initiatives for employers.

Apprenticeship Champion Scope of Services include but are not limited to the following:

  • Program determination, selection, and design: Research and identify the RAP / ONET / RAPIDS selection meeting company requirements.

  • RTI Creation to realize ONET and RAPIDS requirements: Working with the chosen educational institution, develop RTI to satisfy the RAP and company requirements for skill development.

  • OJL definition and customization: Create a custom and structured work process list meeting USDOL requirements and company needs.

  • RAP facilitation: Determine, prepare, and coordinate the needed documentation for submission of the RAP for approval by the required agencies including adjusted submissions.

  •  

  • Policy / communication support: Assist in maintaining proper and compliant communication within company policy associated with starting, marketing, and maintaining an RAP.

  • Apprentice Recruitment & Selection Facilitation: Design and facilitate apprenticeship-based hiring strategies to attract, assess, and onboard new talent into apprenticeships. Support in identifying, evaluating, and selecting incumbent employees suitable for apprenticeship participation.

  • Mentor Selection and Preparation Facilitation: Assist in identifying and onboarding qualified mentors to support apprentice success.

  • Document Acquisition Management: Support collection, organization, and management of required documentation.

  • Mentor Engagement: Quarterly engagement with mentors to support alignment and program quality.

  • Grant Application Assistance: Research, preparation, submission, and deadline management for applicable apprenticeship grants and funds.

  • College Liaison Services: Coordination with RTI and college partners, including registration, dean engagement, attendance coordination, and ongoing communication.

  • Priority Support & Responsiveness: Dedicated support, prioritized service delivery, and on-time execution.
